Tropical Storm Nepartak Moving Away From Guam and Marianas

Nepartak was located at 12.2N lattitude and 141.4E Longitude which puts it 240 miles West-Southwest of Guam.

Guam – Tropical Storm Nepartak is moving away from Guam according to the 2pm public advisory from the National Weather Service. 

 

 

 

Nepartak was located at 12.2N lattitude and 141.4E Longitude which puts it 240 miles West-Southwest of Guam. It’s moving Northwest at 16 miles per hour taking it away from Guam and the Marianas. It’s expected to remain on this track for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are at 50mph and it’s expected to intensify further and possibly become a typhoon by tomorrow(Tues) morning. However, by the time it becomes a typhoon it should be well out of range of Guam and the Marianas.
