Soudelor was about 900 miles east of Guam
Guam – Another storm is formed in the Western Pacific. Soudelor, the 13th tropical system in this region, is heading towards Alamagan with its Maximum Sustained Winds of about 45 MPH.
Located about 895 miles east of Guam, the storm was moving towards west-northwest at about 6 MPH. Soudelor is expected to continue through that direction for the next few days and pass through the Northern Mariana Islands near Alamagan late sunday or early monday.
Currently, Soudelor is a tropical storm, but the National Weather Service says, “Tropical Storm Soudelor is expected to intensify steadily… and may become a typhoon as early as saturday afternoon.”
