The management of the Tsubaki Tower hotel has announced that they will light up the Tumon Bay side of their hotel in the color blue this Friday night in honor of all the frontliners working to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
In a release to the media the yet to open luxury hotel advises that their #LightItBlue campaign is meant to show their “support for the millions of essential workers on the frontlines of this pandemic.”
Similar #LightItBlue and #MakeItBlue campaigns have been conducted over the past month at locations throughout the country.
These events have been held to honor all of the healthcare and public safety workers who have been risking their lives on the frontlines of the pandemic to care for those in need and keep citizens everywhere safe.
The Tsubaki Tower #LightItBlue campaign starts at 7 p.m. Friday and will run through 9 p.m. The event will begin with a 10-minute fountain show from 7:00-7:10 p.m.
All social distancing rules will apply. Hotel management asks that everyone in the area safely view the event at their leisure and at a safe distance from others.
The best vantage point to see the event is on the beach in front of the next door Lotte Hotel, standing 6 feet apart from those around you.
