Two More Covid Related Deaths Marking Guam’s 368th and 369th


The island mourns yet another two more COVID-related deaths, making it the 368th and 369th COVID-related death on the island.

The Joint Information Center reported that the 368th COVID-related fatality passed away at the Guam Memorial Hospital 3 days ago on June 10th.

The patient was a 91-year-old female, fully vaccinated with one booster and with underlying health conditions. She tested positive on June 9th.

The 369th COVID-related fatality also passed away at GMH just yesterday, June 13th. The patient was a 76-year-old female, unvaccinated, with underlying health conditions. She tested positive for COVID on the same day.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, along with Lieutenant Governor Tenorio and her husband, offers condolences to the family and friends of those the island has lost and further stated:

“While new cases are momentarily prevalent, our recovery continues to take shape before our eyes as we maintain our mitigation efforts for the safety and wellbeing of our most vulnerable.”
