The Guam Department of Labor’s unemployment processing center will open next week on Monday June 15, for anyone needing in-person assistance applying for federal unemployment benefits.
You must make an appointment ahead of time.
The processing center will provide in person help to individuals applying for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) programs.
The processing center is located at the Guam Community College. Strict social distancing guidelines will be in effect.
“The processing center will have PUA representatives available to assist claimants in completing their registration and weekly certifications correctly,” said Labor Director David Dell’Isola. “However, we want to stress claimants will have to fill out the application online themselves.”

Appointments can be scheduled for one-hour slots Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first two hours will be prioritized for veterans, manamko’ and persons with disabilities.
Guam DOL advises claimants to note any special accommodations requests when they schedule their appointments, and to also have a working email address and proper documentation on-hand to be uploaded.
“We are also providing other processing centers at different library branches to further assist our community with their claims,” said Dell’Isola.
In addition to the main processing center, GDOL will launch a mobile processing center in partnership with the Guam Public Library System. The roving center will be at the following village library branches from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those wishing to apply for the PUA and FPUC programs by phone can do so starting Monday, June 8.
Phone applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Claimants must have an email address to register for PUA and must also be able to upload and email documents.
