Guam – United Airlines Tuesday announced plans to operate three roundtrip charter flights from Haneda International Airport to Guam, around the three-day weekend in September, subject to government approval.
United first introduced charter flights between Haneda and Guam in 2007, and has offered the service each summer since 2009. This year marks the fifth year United will serve the Haneda-Guam market with charter service.
United plans to operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a two-class configuration, including 14 seats in United Business and 141 seats in United Economy.

United currently operates around 70 weekly flights to Guam from 10 Japanese cities, including: Sapporo, Sendai, Niigata, Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya, Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima, Fukuoka and Okinawa. United celebrated the 25 year anniversary of the Fukuoka-Guam route in June 1, 2012, and has announced plans to increase frequency on its Sendai-Guam service to four times weekly from October 2012.
