Guam – United Continental Holdings has announced special round-trip fares from Guam to Manila starting as low as US$340, on flights from January 1 through March 15, 2012.
“Manila has long been a popular destination for shopping, recreation and relaxation for Guam residents. We are excited to offer special fares for the community.” said Barry Bergmann, United’s managing director for Micronesia and Southeast Asia.
Currently Continental operates nine weekly nonstop flights between Guam and Manila. In addition the airline also operates twice-weekly one-stop service between Guam and Manila. The flights are operated by Continental’s Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft.
Tickets for the special fares must be issued one day after reservations are made, and no later than November 30, 2011. Children accompanied by parents between the ages of 2 and 11 years, or infants occupying a seat, receive an additional 20 percent discount. Infants under age 2 without a seat will be charged 10 percent of the fare. Travel is valid with a minimum two-day stay and a maximum stay of 14 days. Tickets are non-refundable and fares are subject to fuel surcharges, and do not include tax and PFC up to a maximum of US$20 per ticket. Other restrictions may also apply.
