UOG Alumni Association Names Distinguished Alumni

Guam – The University of Guam Alumni Association (UOGAA) has announced the names of the UOG graduates who will be honored as Distinguished Alumni at the upcoming Triton Homecoming Gala. The event is scheduled for Sat. Sept. 3 at the Outrigger Guam Resort from 6p.m. to midnight.

 The awardees are:

School of Business and Public Administration

Ms. Tanya Muna
Mr. Mike Naholowaa

School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Ms. Laurent Duenas

School of Education

Atty. Robert Klitzkie
Dr. Gregg San Nicolas
Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood
 

College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

Ms. Joanne Brown
Ms. Judith Flores


College of Natural and Applied Sciences

Mr. Frank Cruz
Dr. John Taitano

The above mentioned alumni have made major contributions to the social and economic welfare of our island community and their respective professions.

The event is open to everyone, but UOG alumni are most especially encouraged to attend. Tickets are $125 per person and seating is limited. As of today there are only 20 seats available.

The festivities will include a cocktail reception followed by dinner and the presentation of the “Distinguished Alumni Awards.” A preview of the University’s facilities master plan and 60th anniversary celebration which starts in January 2012 will also be announced.

Entertainment will be provided by the dance band Retrospect and there will be exciting door prizes. Valet parking will be provided.
