Guam – Two higher education agencies are short by a combined a total of $21.6 million dollars in cash.
University of Guam Spokesman Jonas Macapinlac confirmed that they are behind $13.6 million dollars in their scheduled cash allotments. In addition to this Jayne Flores has confirmed for PNC that the Guam Community College is behind by $8.05 million dollars. These two agencies alone total a $21.6 million dollar cash shortfall. The Guam Department of Education has not returned our calls or messages to determine whether or not they are behind in cash allotments. However last week GDOE told lawmakers they owed $7 million dollars to their vendors.
