UOG Appoints Moore-Linn RCUOG Interim Executive Director; Taitano Named Acting Director of Professional & International Programs

Guam – The Board of Directors of the Research Corporation of the University of Guam (RCUOG) appointed Cathleen Moore-Linn as the Interim Executive Director on August 8.   

 

The RCUOG is a public corporation established by Public Law 32-114 to create an efficient managerial environment necessary to compete for and manage research funding. 

Ms. Moore-Linn has been employed at the University of Guam since 2002 and served as the Director of Professional & International Programs and as Director of Integrated Marketing Communication. She earned an MFA in English and Writing from Long Island University Southampton and a BA in Communication from the University of Hawaii. She expects to complete her Professional MBA from the University of Guam in 2014.

Carlos Taitano has been appointed Acting Director of the Professional and International Programs (PIP) unit at the University of Guam.  PIP oversees the English Language Institute, the English Adventure Program, continuing education and professional development, and the Telecommunication and Distance Education Operation.   

Taitano has been with the university for three years and formerly held the position of Associate Director at PIP. Taitano earned his Professional MBA from the University of Guam and a BA in Business from the University of Portland.
