The University of Guam Men’s Soccer Team leads the Guam Football Association’s Budweiser Premier League as the 2nd half of the season begins for the Tritons on Sunday, January 21 at the GFA National Training Center at 7:00pm against the Shipyard Haya.
UOG is 6-0-0 on the season so far, while Shipyard YAYA is 1-5-1. The Tritons lead the league 18 points while the Andersen Bombers are in 2nd place with 15 points. Three teams are tied with 12 points and 3 other teams with 10 points.
The Tritons have outscored opponents 39-5 in their first 6 matches. Dylan Naputi is in 5th place for the Golden Boot Award with 9 goals, while Jacques Diambra is tied for 6 place with 7 goals and Kyle Legozzie is tied for 9th place with 6 goals.
UOG is tied for 6th place in the Fair Play Award with 3 yellow cards on the season.
After the Sunday, January 21 match with the Shipyard HAYA, the Tritons play the Sidekicks SC on Friday, January 26 at 7:00pm at the GFA Complex. The rest of the spring of 2018 schedule has not been published yet. Information was provided by UOG Athletic Director Doug Palmer.
