Guam – The University of Guam Division of Social Work is pleased to announce a partnership between the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) and the University of Guam to offer an accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program on Guam.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the UOG President’s Conference Room.
“This regional partnership with the University of Hawaii at Manoa is a significant step towards providing enhanced educational opportunities in social work to our students and throughout the region,” said Dr. LisaLinda Natividad, Chair, UOG Division of Social Work.
“We have a lot to offer students and faculty in Hawaii and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”

Ms. Theresa Krief of the University of Hawaii at Manoa School of Social Work will be conducting a an Information Session for interested applicants to the MSW program at 9am, on Saturday, September 29 at House #31 Dean’s Circle on the UOG Campus. The program will admit an advanced-standing Guam-based cohort beginning in the Summer of 2013.
Ms. Krief will also be hosting a UHM School of Social Work Alumni Gathering at 6pm, on Wednesday, September 26th at Dean’s Circle House #31.
