The University of Guam Press is celebrating the release of the second volume of the Undergraduate Research Journal of Micronesia
All are welcome to join a virtual launch event at 12:30 p.m. on May 4 to celebrate the newest volume.
URJM was first launched in 2017 and publishes scholarly writing from undergraduate students across Micronesia.
Papers in the journal focused on issues surrounding the region and opened up an opportunity for students to enter the conversation.
While the first volume focused on multidisciplinary research, this second volume centers on perspectives from UOG’s Psychology Program, covering topics that include mental health, gender identity, and environmental responsibility.
“The themes in this volume could provide insight to help readers make sense of global change,” said UOG Instructor of English Teresita Perez in the volume’s introduction.
URJM Volume II will be available for free online at https://url.uog.edu/XHYiJ5 starting May 4.
