Guam – Antoinette “Toni” Sanford, president and co-founder of Sanford Technology Group, LLC (STG) and a current member of the University of Guam Board of Regents, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement award during the 2014 Businesswoman of the Year Gala held at the Hyatt Regency Guam on April 26.
“This is a tremendous honor. It is testimony that we can achieve what we conceive, if we believe,” said Sanford. “I thank God for my family, friends, and our STG team, whose support has driven me to excel.”
In business for the last 27 years, Sanford has received several awards in recognition for her business acumen. In 1993 she was awarded the Guam Business News “Executive of the Year” award; in 1995 she and her husband were awarded the Small Business Administration “Small Business Person of the Year” and in 1999; she was recognized as the AOLG “Business” laureate.

In 1993, Toni served as Chair of the Board for the Guam Chamber of Commerce. In 2003, she served as a Senator in the 27th Guam Legislature, and for several years she chaired the UOG College of Business and Public Administration Advisory Council. She currently serves as treasurer on the Board of Regents for the University of Guam.
Sanford added, “I am especially grateful to First Hawaiian Bank and Guam Business Magazine for creating this awesome recognition for small business success and for directing funds toward scholarships for our UOG students!”
