U.S. Attorney’s Office To Commemorates Victims of Family Violence


Guam – The U.S. Attorney’s Office will hold a ceremony tomorrow [Tuesday] in remembrance of the victims of family violence on Guam.

The ceremony is part of ongoing events marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 

The event is being held at 11 am at the United States Attorney’s Office Conference Room (6th floor) in the Sirena Building in Hagatna.

Family members of our Silent Witnesses will be in attendance. and the silhouettes of Guam’s Silent Witnesses will be displayed.

In a release, U.S. Attorney Alicia Limtiaco states that the United States Department of Justice is committed to the prevention and awareness of domestic violence.  United States Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. has expressed that the United States Attorney community play a critical role in raising the awareness of domestic violence and other issues relating to violence against women.
