USGS: 4.8 quake shakes Guam awake


An early morning quake shook the residents of Guam awake today.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey the temblor struck at 5:37 AM ChST.

It measured 4.8 in magnitude.

The epicenter was about 18 miles southeast of Yigo at a depth of about 32 miles.

There were no reports of injury or damage.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reports that there is no threat of a tsunami.
