Guam – A 6.0 earthquake occurred 225 miles west southwest of Guam early Monday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey [USGS] website, the temblor struck at 1:38am Monday ChST. It occurred at a depth of 68.1 miles.
Some island residents contacted PNC news to report that they had been awoken by the quake. But there were no reports of any damage or injury.
