The VA’s payment plan with GWA calls for some payment within the next 10 days, with payment in full expected within the next six months.

Guam – The veterans affairs office has made a payment for at least some of the over $200,000 water bill charged to the VA cemetery.

In an email statement to PNC, Brig. General Roderick Leon Guerrero met with GWA officials last week and made a full payment for the VA’s administration building water bill, still leaving the VA cemetery bill unpaid. The email states that GWA officials confirmed that there are no leaks or unauthorized hook ups, however it adds that the pipes at the VA cemetery are old and small and may be contributing to the high water bill which is about $3,000 a month. There is no current plan to resolve this issue. The VA’s payment plan with GWA calls for some payment within the next 10 days, with payment in full expected within the next six months.
