In collaboration with the American Medical Center, the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) hosted another Covid-19 Vaccination Outreach on Saturday, September 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tiyan High School gymnasium.

This outreach was available to GDOE employees and eligible students.

In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 2021-17, all employees of the executive branch are required to be vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) by September 24, 2021. GDOE employees who need their second dose of either Pfizer or Moderna and students who are 12 years of age or older, upon obtaining parental consent as needed, are highly encouraged to avail themselves of the vaccine.

Employees may claim an exemption from the vaccination requirement for medical or religious reasons. Employees claiming a medical exemption would need to submit medical documentation from their health care provider in order to be granted this exemption.
