VIDEO: Cabinet Shakeup Followed Performance Evaluations


Guam – The Governor’s Chief of Staff, Frank Arriola today [Thursday] explained the shake-up in the Administration’s cabinet line-up saying the changes were the result of performance evaluations that began in October of last year.

4 directors are being moved to new positions within the Administration. Ralph Sgambelluri returns to his post as Chief of Customs. Pedro Leon Guerrero moves from Port General Manager to the Director of Customs. Mary Torres moves from the airport to the commercial port. She will be replaced by Chuck Ada who was the Administrator of Civil Defense. No one has been named to replace him yet.

However, beyond the re-shuffling of  Directors at Customs, the commercial port and the Port of Guam,  the Department heads at Labor and AHRD were asked to leave. Leah Beth Naholowaa and Frank Roberto are being replaced.

George Santos will be the new Director of Labor. No one has been named yet to lead AHRD.
