Guam – This week is National Crime Victims’ Tights week on Guam, and across the nation.
And a special ceremony was held Tuesday at Harvest Christian Academy to honor and remember the victims of crime on Guam.
Chief Deputy Attorney General Phil Tydingco spoke about the progress Guam has made in providing comfort and justice to those victims.
And Guam Senator Mana Silva-Taijeron spoke about her own experience as a victim of crime and asked others in attendance who have fallen victim to crime to stand and be recognized.
The theme of this year’s Crime Victims’ Rights Week is “Extending the Vision, Reaching Every Victim.”
