VIDEO: GHRA Buoyed by Surge in Tourist Arrival Numbers

Guam – The Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association [GHRA] has taken note of the improved economic outlook for the island’s number-one industry.

The Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association met Thursday, buoyed by the increase in business activity and last year’s surge in tourist arrival numbers from last year.

Speaking at the GHRA meeting at the Fiesta resort, President Mary Rhodes spoke optimistically about the prospects for the year ahead.

The Hotel and Restaurant Association also announced its 2013 Board of Directors.

Bart Jackson, President of the Hotel Santa Fe, was re-elected as Board Chairman. First Vice Chairman of the Board is Noboru Izumi, who is the General Manager of Starts Golf Resort.
