The victims were asleep within the resident living room with they were awakened by an individual who was standing by the edge of the couch.  The unknown male then demanded from the home owner to “Open the Vault”, at which time the home owner noticed the unknown male was holding a black pistol.  The home owner then informed the unknown male that he did not have vault.

The unknown male then instructed the home owner to proceed into the kitchen of the residence when the home owner noticed the unknown male had grabbed his wife’s purse which was on top of the living room couch, with the home owner’s wife asleep on top of the couch.

As the home owner proceeded into the kitchen, he noticed that the unknown male was not following behind him at which time he noted the resident kitchen door was ajar.  Fearful for his safety and the safety of his wife, the home owner proceeded out of the house and immediately called the police as he proceeded back into his residence to make a check of his wife and the unknown male, only to discover the unknown male had fled the area.
