Guam – Despite forcing an early closure, the rain didn’t stop the 24th annual Micronesia Island Fair from officially opening Friday. With dancing, singing, racing and more planned during the 3 day event, it is sure to take Guam to a new level of cultural entertainment.
GVB officials decided to close the fair Friday afternoon for safety reasons. The event will re-open tomorrow, October 15 at 12 noon. Ko’ko Road Race runners can pick up their packets tonight until 7 p.m. at the GVB office. In the meantime, check out GVB’s live facebook feed for updates. Log on to facebook.com/guamvisitorsbureau .
