Guam – The 2011/2012 school year is now just around the corner.

As school administrators prepare the facilities for the new school year, some need to pass inspections from the Department of Public Health before the school year begins.

Agueda Johnston Middle School is no longer at risk of closure after passing an inspection this morning. DOE Superintendent Dr. Underwood told PNC today that Southern High School is scheduled for inspection on Wednesday.  She adds Simon Sanchez High School, which was closed by Public Health in June, just needs to show the Department of Public Health proof that an Invitation For Bid has been issued for roof repairs before the school can be reopened.
