Guam – As a way of giving thanks to the community, the Guam Memorial Hospital’s Volunteers Association held another successful Thanksgiving raffle fundraiser last week.
Dozens of prizes were raffled last Friday and tickets were sold out, according to raffle organizers.
The proceeds from the raffle will go toward the purchase of more needed medical equipment and supplies for the hospital.
President Josephine Mesa emphasizes the value of the Volunteers Association because of the hundreds of thousands of dollars they have been able to raise for GMH.
Some of the generous donations they’ve made through their fundraising efforts include sterilization equipment, an ultra sound machine and other medical supplies.
