Guam – It’s that time of year again for holiday parties with lots of food and booze.
The Guam Police Department Office of Highway Safety is reminding the community to be cautious out on the streets. GPD Spokesman Officer AJ Balajadia reminds everyone not to drink and drive and if you are consuming alcohol, make sure you have a designated driver to bring you home safely. He notes that traffic accidents are more frequent this time of year.
Balajadia says DUI checkpoints will be in effect throughout the holiday season.
