Guam – The sweet aroma of cookery filled the air at the Guam Community College auditorium today as budding iron chefs duked it out, culinary style, for the ProStart throwdown.
It was a competition among high school students to see who gets to represent Guam at the ProStart National competition.
Participating in the event were teams of four students each from George Washington High School, JFK High School, Southern High School and Simon Sanchez high school.
The Simon Sanchez High School team won the competition and will be representing Guam at the ProStart National competition in Maryland this April.
The team includes Captain MacDaniel Dimla and members Airen Magday, Angelica Sia and Leyann Lusung.
