Guam – Luxury Pilot-Watch Specialist Breightling partnered with the non-profit organization “Honor Flight Network” to make and release 56 limited-edition watches, one of which commemorates Guam.
The Guam watch is valued at $9,000 and the chance to buy it was raffled off Thursday night at the DKSH Caronel Watch Center in the Tumon Sands Plaza.
DKSH Guam’s Martin Estabillo explained that the “Honor Flight Network” helps pay the cost of flying American veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifices. Thursday night’s raffel of the Guam commemorative watch helped raise funds for that effort.
“The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization that flies WWII veterans to Washington D.C. Caronel is honored to display and sell this historic timepiece. As you know each state and territory during WWII has its own pillar in the memorial including Guam, thus including in the limited timepiece. We are honored to be a part of it.”
