Guam – The Cars Plus Rams finished the regular season on a very high note beating the Limelight Spartans 43-0.
In the opening series Spartans corner AJ Quitugua gets the INT and looks to make it a pick six but gets dragged down just out side the ten. But a fews plays later Brandon Johnson shows the red team how to do a pick six and goes 85 yards the other way to increase the Rams lead. The Rams finished at 5-1 and first place while the Spartans went winless at 0-6 but still have a shot at the title with only two wins in the post season.
The other game between Pepsi Warriors and the Shell’s Hal’s Angels was more evenly matched. The Warriors nipped the Angels 15-13. The first score of the game came from a 30 yard pass from Paul Unger to Sandy Fejeran and before the half ended the Warriors were able to take a 12-0 lead thanks to a 58 yard touchdown reception. Down 15-0 the Angels tried to rally back but the Warriors held off the scare for the win.
Both game were a preview of the playoffs next week.
