TROPICAL STORM 09W IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 17 MPH. TROPICAL STORM 09W IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ALMOST DUE WEST TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY WITH A DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED…AND SHOULD PASS VERY CLOSE TO GUAM THIS MORNING. 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS REMAIN AT 40 MPH…BUT INTENSIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO RESUME TODAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY.
