VIDEO: Panthers Beat Sharks For 1st Time

Agana Heights, Guam – The Guam High Panthers were certainly the underdogs who pulled off a big win against the Simon Sanchez Sharks with a 14-25, 25-17, 25-15 in the Interscholastic Interdependant Athletic Association of Guam’s high school girl’s volleyball league.

The Sharks now have to add one more tally on the lose column, which is now 2, as the Panthers took advantage of the Sharks’ senior setter Chanel Catunao’s absence.

Ha’ani Limtiaco and Luna McGuire punched in 7 kills a piece while Katrina Joiner chipped in with 12 digs.  The Panthers are now on a two game winning streak after starting the season with five straight losses.

This is the first time the Panthers has ever beaten the Sharks in 16 years since Guam High opened in 1997.
