VIDEO: PUC Rebuffs GPA Request to Use LEAC Funds to Pay LNG Consultant


Guam – The Public Utilities Commission fired a warning shot across the bow of the Guam Power Authority Tuesday night. They rejected GPA’s request to use $3.8 million dollars in fuel adjustment funds to pay the consultant advising GPA on its planned conversion to liquid natural gas.

The PUC thought the cost was too high. and they don’t want GPA to use the LEAC as the source of funding for the conversion.
