Hagatna, Guam. May 1, 2013 – Riding the momentum of the success of “Paddles Against Cancer,” another sponsored event by the South Pacific Petroleum Corporation benefiting the American Cancer Society, the company proudly invites the public to partake in “Ride for Life,” an event that is part exercise, part fundraiser and all fun.
Ride for Life will take place on Sunday, May 5th, beginning at 6am at Paseo in Hagatna. Ride for Life consists of three courses: Full Century (100 miles), Half Century (50 miles) and a Fun Ride for the family taking participants to Jan Z’s and back to Paseo.
The Half Century course starts at Paseo and will navigate through the southern loop counter clockwise direction and back up to Paseo for the first 50 miles. In the Full Century course, riders will navigate back towards southern loop in clockwise direction and then head back up to Paseo to gain the last 50 miles.
“Once again, we at SPPC/76/Circle K are extremely proud to show our support for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and their efforts in finding a cure for the disease. This is our third installment of Ride for Life, and we are bringing the community together to ride together, sweat together and band together to fight cancer,” said SPPC Vice President of Business Development Mark Sablan.
Entrance fees are $35 for Half Century or the Fun Ride and $50 for the Full Century ride. If you’re interested in participating in “Ride for Life,” please pick up applications at Hornet Sporting Goods or register on site on May 5th.
