Guam – Santa Barbara Catholic School celebrates Chamorro Month at Ypao Beach with a day full of cultural activities.
The theme of the Chamorro Day event is Tanom I Simiyan Irensia-Ta Famagu’on-Ta or Plant the Seeds of Our Heritage Among Our Children.
Santa Barbara students from kinder to 8th grade participated in games, performances, entertainment and fiesta food.
Chamorro Day Coordinator Jenice Cabe said this is a great way to share our culture with the younger generation.
