VIDEO: Muna-Barnes Raises Alarm Over Crimes Against Tourists

Guam – Tourism Committee Chair Senator Tina Muna-Barnes is raising the alarm over over recent crimes against island visitors.

The latest incident occurred early Monday morning when a Japanese couple were mugged while walking back to the Sheraton from Payless.

Muna-Barnes says its crimes like that that must stop.

  

The Senator says that she has a call out to the Guam Visitor’s Bureau, the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association and local consular officials. She wants to bring them all together to encourage solutions to curb crimes against tourists.
