Saipan – The family of missing sisters Faloma and Maleina Luhk are still hoping that their case will be resolved soon even as they marked their mysterious disappearance last May 25.
The Luhk sisters’ grandfather Elbert Quitugua told Saipan Tribune that his family is still going through a very painful process not knowing and not finding what happened to her two granddaughters.
He said the children’s disappearance has had a devastating effect not just on him and his wife but their entire family, especially their Guam-based daughter, the mother of the children.
Quitugua expressed belief that the Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are on top of the case and have not given up.
Police commissioner James Deleon Guerrero, meanwhile, said Friday that their ultimate goal is to locate the missing sisters.
