Guam – Governor Eddie Calvo broke ground Tuesday morning on a road paving project in Yigo. Its a stretch of road that leads to the controversial Gil-Baza housing development.
The $800-thousand dollar project will pay for paving a three-quarter mile stretch of Chalan Ramierz Road.
That means that school buses will finally be able to drive down to the entrance of the Gil-Baza subdivision, so that the children from that subdivision don’t have to walk to out to the paved part of the road to get picked up for school.
