Guam(April 10, 2014) The Vipers defeated the Bluejays, 10-4, in Budweiser Amateur Baseball League (BABL) action at the Leo Palace Baseball Stadium in Manengon. The Vipers trailed 1-0 after two innings but later exploded for six runs in the bottom of the 3rd, and four more in the bottom of the 5th. The Bluejays rallied for one in the top of the 6th, and two runs in the top of the 7th. Viper pitcher Rick Fernandez stayed in control and held on for the complete-game win, while Matt Barcinas took the loss. For the Vipers, Fred Malaca took the honor of Strike Zone Player of the Game, going 2-2, two RBI, and two runs scored. At the plate, Fernandez, was 2-4, with a run scored. For the Bluejays, Donovan Santos went 3-4.
