Guam – Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio and other volunteers for the Guam Seal Bus Stop Project once again, took part in the painting of bus shelters SATRUDAY.

The shelters were built built by DPW.

This was the second phase of the DPW project marking the completion of about twenty shelters adorned with the Great Seal of Guam and ready to be installed throughout the island.

“So many people came out today, in spite of the rain!”, said Lieutenant Governor Tenorio. “Its during weather like this that our students really need these bus stops.”

Kennedy High School, George Washington High School, Inarajan Middle School, Guam Medical Transport and various private citizens and youth volunteers.

Isla Paint & Roofing Supply and Sherwin Williams donated over 100 gallons of paint used on the interior and exterior walls of the shelters. National Office Supply provided paint brushes and DC Signs donated the Guam Seal stencil. Meals and water were donated by McDonald’s of Guam and Dominos Pizza. The Works!
