“Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom Educational Outreach” Next TUESDAY at the Hyatt

Guam –  Hyatt Regency Guam is partnering with the magical world of Walt Disney and Dr. Shieh’s Clinic to present an exciting educational outreach by the world’s best animal caregivers, Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom Vet and Wildlife Preservation Team.

 

The outreach will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Guam Grand Ballroom. Admission is free.

Students grades 3rd through 8th are invited to attend an adventurous presentation featuring special guest speakers Dr. Deidre Fontenot, veterinarian of Walt Disney Park and Resorts, Leanne Blinco, Animal Care Manager of Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Rosaria Di Meglio, Animal Care Specialist of Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Cheryl Calaustro, Wildlife Biologist for Guam Department of Agriculture.

The outreach will cover topics including “Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment: Partners in Bird Conservation and Education in the Marianas” and students will have the chance to see firsthand some of Guam’s endangered birds including the Guam Rail also known as Ko’ko bird.

Students who attend the outreach will receive a special 20% discount for dinner at La Mirenda Restaurant.
