Wendy’s Naval Station employee tests positive for COVID-19


Wendy’s has announced that an employee at its Naval Station location tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, September 18, 2020 through contact tracing.

The employee last worked on Friday, September 11 without symptoms.

Wendy’s Guam is providing support to this employee and their family. The employee is now in quarantine, receiving the care and treatment necessary for recovery.

The company has notified its employees and is cooperating with Department of Public Health & Social Services (DPHSS) and Navy officials.

As a precaution, co-workers of the employee who were in close contact will remain home to self-quarantine and self-monitor.

On Monday, September 21, 2020, Wendy’s temporarily closed its restaurant for thorough and deep cleaning of the work areas and common spaces.

The reopening date and hours of operation will depend on staff availability. Wendy’s will issue updates and thanks its customers for their patience and understanding during these times.
