Guam – A woman who admitted to writing over $31,000 in bad checks using a Navy Federal Credit Union account will be sentenced this fall.
Meihalani Cruz pleaded guilty today to charges of attempted credit union fraud in District Court. Cruz signed a plea deal with the US Attorney’s Office admitting that in February this year, she wrote a total of nine bad checks.
