A rescue unit from the Guam Fire Department pulled a woman out of the water behind the Fujita Hotel this morning.

Dededo’s Engine Unit #4 got the call of a possible drowning just after 11 a.m.

Members of that unit entered the water  “and retrieved a(n) elderly female,” said GFD spokesman Kevin Reilly.

When the woman was brought ashore she was not breathing and had no pulse, said Reilly.

She was rushed to Guam Memorial Hospital. CPR was conducted enroute.

Her current condition has not been released.
