Two hotels on Ypao Road in Tamuning have been designated as quarantine facilities for incoming passengers from the Philippines.
Passengers arriving on Guam from Manila this morning (Thursday, March 19) were greeted by school buses at the airport, screened, and taken to either The Wyndham Garden Hotel or the Day’s Inn.

Public safety officers wearing masks have been stationed outside both facilities.
Family and friends are NOT allowed to visit persons under quarantine.
“No Visitors. Internet will be provided,” stated the governor’s press secretary Krystal Paco San Agustin in a text response to PNC News.
The Wyndham Garden issued a letter to guests dated yesterday, March 18, advising that the government of Guam asked them “to assist with lodging accommodations in an effort to mitigate the COVID-19 situation.”
As a result, the hotel advised that none of their rooms are available.
Guests are being re-located to Wyndham’s sister property, The Grand Plaza Hotel.
