Guam – Xterra Guam and the make a wish foundation of Guam are teaming up to help raise money for a three year old boy.
The make a wish foundation raises money to make the wishes come true for kids with life threatening or terminal diseases. Xterra Guam is an off-road triathlon racing organization. In order to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation Xterra Guam will be creating a corporate challenge relay team category. A majority portion of the entry fees from this category will go directly to the Make-A-Wish foundation. “You know when they approached us about teaming up I thought it was a great idea to point out that this race is not easy, people have to plan have to train hard have to go through a lot of hardships and it’s a small representation of what these kids have to do daily just to go on living regular normal lives,” said Make-A-Wish Executive Director Victor Camacho.
The money raised from this particular partnership will go towards granting the wish of three year old Kyanu (kai-anu) Andresen (an-dray-sen), who has been diagnosed with a highly malignant primary brain tumor.
