Dozens of Yigo residents lined up in their vehicles at their village gym this morning, Wednesday as part of the first day of expanded community COVID-19 testing.
And because testing is free and you don’t have to be symptomatic, Public Health Nursing Administrator Margarita Bautista-Gay encourages residents to get tested once a site near them is available.
“We’re encouraging the residents to come out and you know, get tested. Because we are here for the villages. It’s worth it considering what’s happening now. That you do get this testing while we’re doing the different villages,” Bautista-Gay said.
The expanded community testing continues tomorrow from 9 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon at the GHURA Public Housing in Dededo.
The testing will be free and open to GHURA elderly and public housing residents.
