The distressed swimmer found facedown in the waters of Ypao Beach last Sunday died yesterday afternoon.
GUAM – The 58-year-old man who was pulled from the waters of Ypao Beach last Sunday has died. The man passed away at 1:28 P.M. yesterday afternoon at the Guam Memorial Hospital.
Last Sunday, a group of divers found the man facedown in the water and brought him to shore, where a lifeguard conducted CPR. CPR was also administered as they transported the man to the Guam Memorial Hospital, where he remained in critical condition for the next two days.
GMH was unable to release information on the man’s identity or cause of death.
